Not a Penguin on the Telly, but a Seagull on a Table (I'll get to that in a moment)

View Joe and Susan's 25th on ORWAT's travel map.

Joseph and I arrived in Edinburgh this morning, rested and ready to go. Well, not exactly. But here we are settling into our flight last night:

We made our way to Glasgow by way of tram and train, with only one small error (getting off at the wrong tram stop). We got some lunch and just checked into our hotel. Now, the big challenge is to keep from lying on the bed and going to sleep. Must stay awake to keep the jet lag at bay.

One observation: It's a lovely party cloudy/party sunny day here in Glasgow, in the low 60s. And people are wearing down coats!! What's up with that?

And, finally, what you've all been wanting to see: a seagull on a table at Starbucks:

We're also working on sounding Scottish. Perhaps we'll record a phrase or two and post. We'll see.

For now, it's time to put the shoes back on and head out for the afternoon death march.

Slainte Mhath!

At the Airport

Joseph and I have made it to Logan. Many thanks to our trusty chauffeur Tom M, who delivered us to the bus station in Augusta.

We then took Concord Coach from Augusta to Portland and then Portland to Logan. Along the way, we learned that our flight has been delayed a bit, now leaving around 10:30.

Joseph had a bit of an issue getting through security, with his backpack sent through a couple of times. Thankfully, we were not in a hurry.

And, now we await our flight in one of the cozy Sky Lounges in Terminal A.

The next entry will be from Scotland!
